This “Damast Jahresmesser” annual knife features a gorgeous hand-forged 300-layer damascus blade, exotic snakewood handle scales, and it was limited to 999 individually-numbered folders. This specimen’s serial number 705 is stamped on the liner lock; the original serial-numbered COA and hardwood presentation case are included. The blade’s unique 300-layer structure is a natural result of the forging process perfected by Bokers’ master smith Manfred Sachse; the results is the stunning wavy pattern and a superb edge holding ability. The blade is acid-etched BOKER DAMAST / 2000 on one side and 300 LAGEN / GERMANY on the other. For the 2000 Annual Knife, Boker used stainless handle frame with exotic snakewood handle scales. Unused condition with original edge; the tip is intact. About 6-7/8″ / 17.5 cm overall fully opened; spear-point blade is about 2-3/4” / 7 cm long. The knife comes with the original hardwood presentation case, completed with original, serial-numbered COA in German. The 2000 Damast Jahresmesser run was limited to just 999 sets; these superb quality folders are hard-to-find nowadays. This vintage Boker Germany 2000 Annual Knife will make an excellent addition to any collection.
