The blade and bolsters are “wild pattern” steel and coper damascus steel; thumb stud houses a small garnet. Handle scales are cut from exotic “black lip” pearl; all screws and the thumb stud are gold-plated. The knife is unmarked, but it certainly was made by an experienced and talented knifemaker. The overall quality and finish are excellent; this is a very attractive little folder. This could be your perfect fancy “every-day-carry” knife or an impressive gift for someone special in your life. The knife is about 6-1/2” / 16.5 cm fully opened; the blade is about 2-3/4″ / 7 cm. Original edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. All handle parts are tight with no play; mother of pearl handle scales are in perfect condition; no chips, scratches, or cracks. This fine folder comes with a small bright red felt storage pouch.
