WW2 rare US Kennedy Bros Arms Co. “private purchase” type fighting dagger, original leather scabbard

Description WW2 Kennedy Arms fighting knife – rare “private purchase” American-made dagger, original scabbard included. Hard-to-find WW-II fighter type in any shape or form nowadays. FREE EXPEDITED SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S. FOR THIS ITEM. Very rare WW2 era US-made “private purchase” fighting dagger made during the war by some unknown knifemaker for Kennedy Bros Arms Co of St. Paul, Minnesota. This exact type is illustrated on page 163 of the KNIVES OF THE UNITED STATES MILITARY WORLD WAR II book by Michael W Silvey – a well-established expert an author of many books on the subject of US military edged weapons (see the book’s page scan attached). This fighter is in used condition and it was probably poorly stored – the blade is pitted; original leather sheath is dry and fragile with the keeper MIA. Still, all Kennedy Bros Arms fighting knives are VERY hard-to-find in any shape or form nowadays. Kennedy Bros Arms sold a relatively small number of knives before aluminum and bronze was banned from use in products that were “not essential for the war effort”; all of their WW2 era knives are highly sough after now. The knife is about 12″ / 30.5 cm overall; the blade is about 7-1/2″ / 19 cm; the tip is intact. Original leather scabbard has a weakly-struck KENNEDY BROS ARMS CO ST. PAUL circular stamp on the front panel; only a few letters are visible. The scabbard is in poor shape with several dry cracks and stiff leather; at this point it’s good for display only. This rare WW2 Kennedy Arms fighting knife “private purchase” type is rare and hardly ever come up for sale. Don’t miss your chance to add this original WW2 Kennedy Arms fighting knife to your collection! This rare WW2 Kennedy Arms fighting knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, it is in 100% original “as is” condition. These are the actual photos; Garand clips are not included with the knife  I have a few more American-made WW2 “private purchase” knives & daggers, several rare fighting knives made from converted sabers, as well as some scarce WW1 and WW2 fighting daggers and trench knives available for sale – please take a look in our Militaria section. I also have a very rare US-made Camillus OSS stiletto fighting dagger that was modeled after the British FS dagger available for sale – please take a look.
