Excellent quality original US-made Halo Attack Border Patrol A-2 tool steel blade fighting knife made by Blackjack Knives; unused and still in the original retail box with a cardboard blade protector and brown leather sheath. This is Model #13 of Blackjack’s Classic Blades lineup; this knife is of the highest quality. Blackjack had always made extremely well-made knives from the best materials available. But their labor intensive production also made it hard to compete with cheap mass-produced Chinese junk. This was one of the main reasons why Blackjack went bankrupt. Below is Blackjack’s original Model 13 description: The Halo Attack from Blackjack Knives is the ultimate combat survival style knife. It balances perfectly in the hand and will take hard rugged use in any situation. The hand convex ground blade is made from solid A2 tool steel and triple tempered to 58 Rockwell C hardness. Each one is equipped with a thick double quillion guard. The combination of the precisely fit guard and the finger grooved handle yields a solid and sure grip while the unique mortise tang construction ensures maximum strength.
