Description Gesso is a kind of modifier of grounder work, it can make the surface stiffer , prevent the paint from soaking into the support , gives the surface more texture , so the paint sticks better. Art nation ‘s Acrylic gesso is formulated from alkyd resin , titanium dioxide ,and barium sulfate ; it is a kind of high density and opaque paste , can be used as color , because of its rough & opaque coloring . It can make canvas and linen stiffer and more flexible . Barium sulfate gives Art nation ground its tooth. Titanium dioxide gives Art nation ground its opacity. At present , we have two kinds of gesso for your choice, the regular gesso and sand gesso .
