Description British 1914 Serv Stripe first year of War for Uniform. This stripe was used in RED when the troops were in the BEF.  issued in 1914-15 only. The stripes are used in BLUE for the years remaining in the war. This one is made of wool, and a cotton tape of higher quality material.
