Crafted by Manufacture Nationale d'Armes de Châtellerault, this bayonet showcases the evolution of design, featuring the distinctive first-type crosspiece, narrow muzzle-ring, and unique hooked lower quillon. The black vulcanized rubber grips add authenticity to this pre-Century piece. Wooden handles debuted around 1905. By 1912, the second type crosspiece emerged, featuring an extended muzzle ring over the grip. During World War I, the third type crosspiece was introduced, characterized by a shortened lower quillon.
